Reading Tea Leaves

Tasseography

The reading of tea leaves

Reading tea leaves has been taken very seriously for
many years.
The professional 'Tasseographers' work by swirling the tea
around in the tea cup counter-clockwise three times.
The cup is then drained of the liquid on the saucer and
turned three times more ending with the handle
facing the enquirer.
The leaves fall into certain patterns which the Tasseographer
then interprets.

Some tea leaf patterns are very obvious while others are
more complex.
The following list offers some interpretations.
