The main trunk is the focal point of the tree, so think of it as the center of a stage. There should be a clear area around it, and the view should not be obstructed. There should be a fairly large aerial root at each side of the stage, in front of the main trunk, to solidly define the surrounding "curtain" area. Miscellaneous aerial roots are scattered around further to the sides, to fill out the curtains. Behind the main trunk, there are some mid-sized aerial roots, creating a background.
