Please be sure and include your name, address and contact number where you can be reached with your order, and if you want the order shipped to a different address include that information also. We ship every Tuesday, unless it is a holiday, then we will ship the following day (Wednesday). We use US Postal Priority Mail so your plants will arrive with your regular mail delivery but keep in mind in some instances due to the size of the box the postal office will not leave the box but will leave you a notice instead.
Keep in mind that we ship every Tuesday so if you need a later shipping date please include that information with your order.
NOTE: If for some reason your plants arrive in poor condition please inform us immediatly, this is a rare occurance but the mail system is not always perfect ! We are a grower, no middleman or high overhead, therefore our prices may seem quite reasonable, with this in mind, we do not offer a plant guarantee, if in your care for some reason they die we do not offer replacement plants, if the ph is incorrect, they did not get watered often enough to start, etc. we have no control over that, we gladly give advice and direction and do our best but we cannot come to your house and take care of them for you and feel that while in your care their outcome is your responsibility.

Although planting instructions will be enclosed with you order we would like to give some general information here. Blueberries like a ph of 4.5 to 5.5 (acidic) and like a high content of moisture and organic material, peat moss, sawdust, woodchips and decomposed leaves are excellant mulching materials for blueberry bushes. They should be watered often, but overwatering for a long period of time is not good for them, if the top inch of soil is damp then you are OK. The blueberry bush is shallow rooted and cultivation if any should be shallow, many people keep the area around the bushes mowed for an attractive appearance. New plantings should be fertilized with a water soluble slow realse fertilizer and should be watched carefully for lack of water. If your plants do not grow or produce as they should then recheck soil for acidity and nutrients. Pruning is necessary for removing dead or broken branches, thin or brushy wood growing horizonaly and around the base of the bush, remove old stems that have lost their vigor and have not grown new shoots also stems or canes that are 6 yrs or older to encourage new growth, it is the 3 to 5 year old stems/canes that produce the bulk of the fruit. Pruning should be done in the fall or winter when the plant is dormant. Bareroot plants should be planted to a depth of 1/4" to 1/2" above root line with 2" to 4" of mulch on top of that.
