November/December News New Officers First of all, Caroline FFA Chapter would like to welcome our two new officers, Lacey Scee and David Barry. Congradulations on your success and we are looking forward to working with you this year. Alumni Everyone here from Caroline FFA Chapter encourages all member parents to join the Caroline FFA Alumni. The next meeting is January 19th at 7pm in the CCTC horticulture room. We thank all of those who attended the last meeting and encourage you continued support! Fruit Sales Thanks to all of those who participated in our fruit fundraiser. So far we have sold around $1500 worth in orders. We hope for incresed involvement next year. Competitions To anyone that is a FFA member and is interested in competing in a FFA CDE, we encourage you to sign up on the bulletin board in Ms.Emerson's room under any category that appeals to you. There is limited space to sign up, so hurry in and get those names on the board! If you have any questions on a CDE, visit the National FFA website. Farm & Sportsman Show Trip Caroline FFA Chapter would like to thank everyone that attended the Farm Show on January 11. We hope everyone had a blast and will attend next year. Unfortunately we will not be going on the Sportsman Show Trip and hopefully next year we will be able to go. Holiday Party The holiday party was December 23rd at Luke Spierings house. Thanks to all the members that showed up! Everyone surely did have a fun time between the bonfire, the food, and the games! Scrapbook This year we are completing a Caroline FFA Chapter scrapbook for the 2005-2006 year. If anyone has any pictures of members together at meetings or at last year's banquet, please give them to our historian Lacey Scee for them to be placed in the scrapbook. |
