Transport plans for the Manchester Area:
|
This site is inspired by the excellent website Transport Plans for the London Area, created by John Rowlands. I have closely followed his ideas and the website structure.
The site "Transport Plans for the Manchester Area" is developed by Spike arising from a personal interest in the topic. I am not professionally involved in the transport industry or in policy making. I aim to make the information in this site accurate. If you notice any mistakes, please let me know. Please check the source documents for more accurate information.
I aim to update each entry whenever I am made aware of a change in their current status. If you have any news about a plan listed here or know of a plan for cycle, rail, Metrolink, bus, or road which is not listed here, please let me know.
I have included only plans which have been investigated or recommended in documents published by recognisable official organisations. The inclusion of a plan in this website should not be taken to imply that the plan has been adopted as official policy by the relevant governing body.
