  • Editors of Sunset, Garden Pools, Fountains and Water Falls, (Sunset Publishing Company, 1989).
  • Heriteau, Jacqueline and Charles B. Thomas, Water Gardens, (Houghton Mifflin Company, 1994). This nicely written book provides information on building and maintaining water gardens.
