| Additional comments: | Matilija poppies are a California native. They are extremely drought tolerant, however, they are more attractive with occasional watering. They are somewhat difficult to transplant, but once established can be invasive. They spread by underground runners. They will not be as leggy if they are cut to the ground each fall. |
