Dear Supervisor __________:  

I am a resident of Fairfax County and am in favor of preserving the 24-acre Evans Farm property as a Fairfax County park.

I urge you to support the motion that Supervisor Mendelsohn plans to make on Monday, December 7, 1998.  As I understand it, the motion consists of two key components: 

* Authorizing issuance of a notice of the intention to create a special tax district in McLean, with three alternative configurations;

* Calling for a public hearing on the proposed tax district, to be conducted January 25, 1999, prior to the Board voting on the creation of the tax district.
