This list was compiled by Madeline A. Richard in 1992 and updated in 1997 by Mike Boyd, it comprises all the bird species (305) which have been recorded in the South Peel Naturalists' Club Field Study Area, for which sufficient documented evidence has been preserved. Species marked with a * (117) have been known to nest in the area.
