This page was established to publish information acquired through a second grade unit on bats and caves. Bat Watch, a program designed for young environmentalists, is dedicated to the awareness and respect of native habitats, the conservation of bats, and the venture of actively participating in an effort that will create the next generation of ecologists. Join us on an adventure from our McAllen, Texas classroom as we provide information about bats in hopes of correcting common misunderstandings about our "flying friends".
