The Garden Club of Austin (formerly The Men's Garden Club of Austin) is organized and operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes as a tax exempt organization. Gifts to it are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. It is affiliated with "The Gardeners of America, Inc./Men's Garden Clubs of America, Inc." (TGOA/MGCA), the Southwest Region-MGCA, Inc., and the Austin Area Garden Council, Inc..
