You have stumbled into a large, circular temple that has fallen throughout the years into a crumbling ruin of it's former Majestic state. You sense that it is a very magical place where many ancient rituals have been performed. The light and happiness that was once in abundance here has long been lost with the ancient people who gathered here long ago to worship and honor their Gods. Although, something is left from that time that still lingers here. The souls of the dead linger here, awaiting their Gods to take them from this earth. The souls of the undead linger here as well, for the undead have taken this once sacred temple and claimed it as their own.



As you wander around the weathered ruins you notice that one particular soul has momentos collected from a past life here. Her name is NightChild, and the Dark Temple has claimed HER as it's own, binding her to it for eternity.

Artist's renditions of life

One of the first things you notice is a large book. The book is bound of animal hide and tanned the color of human skin. The face on the cover seems to stare directly at you, as if memorizing the way the shadows play off your cheekbones and the lights dance in your eyes. This book was a gift from the Gods to NightChild and she has used the pages within to capture the essence of the soul with a simple portrait. You feel compelled to open the magical book and see the faces captured within.


On the other side of the Temple, a large ornate mirror catches your eye. As you look into the mirror, your reflection begins to change, and you realize the mirror has been enchanted with the reflection of NightChild. The mirror seems to be surrounded by a mist so dense that you wish you could step right through and into her world beyond. Step into the mirror


Gaze into the Crystal Ball

You notice a glimmer out of the corner of your eye and lean down to pick up a crystal ball. As you peer into the ball you see a section of the Temple that is still under construction, yet the rest of the Temple is in ruin. Hrm.......
