For all the days to come, I want you to remember all of those brothers and sisters out there that are less fortunate not being able to enjoy a good meal or the company of a loved one. I ask you to dedicate a special place in your heart and mind to all of those that eventually could possibly be you so don't be indifferent. Be generous, go out there and help them my friend. Taking time to talk and understand is a crucial and essential behavior. May he enlighten your life and guide you in a proper path. -Michaël 11/25/97 Michaël Champagne is bicycling for humanity, raising awareness on the increasing plauge of poverty around the world. He also encourages people to love one another, not be indifferent to other people's misery, be respectful to one another and non-judgemental towards each other. And to always remember that we are all brothers and sisters and that humans are the best friends we will ever have. And remember that no one is immune to the actual fact of poverty. It is a sad sight. Michaël is bicycling from the Atlantic Ocean in the Northern part of Quebec, Canada to the Pacific Ocean and then down the Pacific Coast to Cape Horn, Argentina in South America and then biking all the way back up on the Atlantic Coast back up to Northern Quebec on the Atlantic Ocean to continue his trek going westward on the upper part of Canada to Alaska and then back down the Pacific Ocean to the end of Washington State on the coast. Then he will be going northeast to the corner of Alberta Province in Canada where Michaël has to enter the U.S. border in Montana because of possible snowstorms in the higher elevations going towards Calgary. So then will be the completion of the cycling around the two hemispheres for a great achievement some time in the year 2001. Along the way, Michaël plans to write a book which he plans to sell at the completion of his journey with all profits going to help the needy. He invites people to go out there and help a person in need. Reach out and touch someone. God Bless you all my friends |
