The flight from Anchorage to Fairbanks was quite memorable. The route of the flight takes you over the Alaska Mountain Range and past Denali (or Mount McKinley). The weather was clear and so the pilot flew slowly (as slow as the plane could go without loosing altitude, which allowed us to take photo's) clockwise around the western side of Denali (the highest mountain in the North America) and gave us a wonderful naration of the features and the history of the first time it was climbed. The pilot had himself climbed the mountain and so could point out the base camp and even managed to spot a party of climbers moving slowly up the mountainside.
