Barbara C. Eaton - 07/26/00 23:09:46 My Email:arab77@iglou.com best picture on site: Ruppell's Weaver | Comments: Gosh, there are so many enjoyable and interesting photos on your site. The White-Cheeked Bulbul was my second favorite. I also liked the Namaqua Doves (very different, more colorful, than the ones here in Northern Kentucky). The Robins also were enjoyed. hank you for a delightful Web Site. |
Rick Toochin - 03/05/00 07:28:52 My Email:avocet@telus.net best picture on site: page 1-loved them! | Comments: Hi, I enjoyed looking at the high volume of photos on your site. I am not entirely familar with the species in your area but I was able to work out some of them. I understand why you haven't labelled them but is it possible to make a seperate page showing you guesses? That way when someone has finished viewing the shots they can see if they are on the right track or if they had a different impression-hence the different answer. I'm thinking this would be helpful for folks like myself. Otherwise excellent job and please put in more shots!!! Cheers! Rick Toochin |

Lyn Atherton - 07/01/99 15:31:20 My Email:bonnie@cftnet.com | Comments: Am hoping to set up by end of summer a website with part devoted to gulls photographed here in FL (mostly, Tampa Bay area). Have some very interesting Herring types that I feel certain aren't smithsonianus. Went to your site from Martin Reid's post on ID rontiers. |

Rudy Offereins - 03/26/98 15:59:49 My Email:offereins@am_roek@post best picture on site: The 2nd year Heuglins, march 4th (and the full-adult "Barabensis" | Comments: Great site with gulls yet to be discovered in Northwestern Europe, if we knew how to i.d. them, since there is very little information. It's a pitty therefore that this page doesn't deal (yet?) with the identification problems of these gulls. (In holland or example no one seems to know how to separate a Fuscus from a Grealsii Lesser black-backed gull while I'm sure they fly around every year!). Still, a great site and I hope it will create as much discussion as knowledge and certainty! Keep up the good work and greetings from Holland, Rudy Offereins |
