Fraser's Hill Nature Education Centre (FHNEC) is a joint project of the Fraser's Hill Development Corporation (FHDC) and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Malaysia. Established in 1997, the centre's main aim is to help raise the public awareness of highland forests, a major part of Malaysia's rich natural heritage.
The Nature Education Centre
Located 1,300 metres above sea level amidst the rich relatively unspoilt highland forests of Fraser's Hill, the centre is well placed to provide visitors with first-hand opportunities to experience and learn more about this unique natural eco-system. Through its education programmes, the Centre hopes visitors will gain a better understanding of the importance of highland forests and appreciate the need to conserve them, for the well-being and benefit of present and future generations.
