This is the official homepage of Starlinks' chat channel #40up.

OUR PURPOSE

#40up exists to provide a friendly gathering place where folks of all ages and from all corners of the globe are welcome for the purposes of chatting, meeting new friends and, most of all, having fun. While the majority of us are from the USA and Canada, we have been pleasantly invaded by a group of Aussies.:))) We also have visitors from Great Britain, Brazil, New Zealand, Netherlands, Argentina, Malaysia, Israel, Russia, Austria, Mexico, Egypt, and a host of others. We are truely a global community!!

Unlike some channels, we welcome popups, .wavs and .txt files. We also consider ourselves good teachers and enjoy helping others learn about IRC and the net. #40up is a registered channel in Starlink.

#40up is an adult channel and as such, minors are tolerated based on their conduct. The decision to kick/ban minors will be made on an individual basis. Channelers occupying a teenchat type channel while in #40up, will be asked to leave.
