The Student’s Club of Environmental Protection (SCEP) is one of the oldest non-governmental organisations in Bulgaria. Since 1977 the Club is working in the field of environmental protection, nature conservation and restoration. Most of the SCEP members are students of the University of Forestry, biodiversity and forestry experts. The main activities of the Club are:
* Scientific researches and expeditions;
* Tree plantings;
* Eco-brigades;
* Direct actions;
* Environmental education;
* Proposals for protected areas;
* Sustainable forestry models;
* Forest and environmental legislation.
