Organizational Structure consists of multiple companies, sales organizations and plants, including  4 warehouse managed storage locations.
Multiple R3 sales areas to control distribution of products to specific customers.
Procurement includes normal purchases, consignment stock and subcontracting.
Extensive use of the classification system with batch managed materials to provide additional information of materials. Classification system used to allow "dual inventory" details to record multiple units of measures where the alternate uom's cannot be a direct calculated value.
Descreet and repetitive manufacturing with finite scheduling to control and plan the production of woven cloth.
Establishing user defined structures in the Logistics Information Systems.
Problem solving of all user queries in SD, MM & WM.
Reports using ABAP QUERY.
Customizing SapScript Layoutsets for forms.

DUTIES Responsible for the maintenance and control of the Production Control System for the Group using packaged software bought from PACTEL in the UK written in RPG II.

Development and implementation of Loom Planning and Scheduling, Piece Dye Planning, Fault Analysis, Shop Floor Paper, Product Specifications and Time Phased Availability systems interfacing between the Production Control and Order Entry Systems. Loom planning system interfaced with a PC based "Electronic planning board", which replaced the manual planning board and ensures the integrity of planning information between the planning board and the production control system.

Development and implementation of a Machine Utilization and Maintenance System for the Group. The system was written in SPEED II and interfaces with the Production Control and Spares Inventory Systems. It allows for either fixed period service cycles, or variable periods depending on the machine utilization. This system is also used for efficiency reporting of various production units as well as providing an analysis for all the stop times during the production process.
