Distribution: | lndo-Pacific and Red Sea. |
Length: | 25Omm/10in (wild), 18OMM/7in (aquarium). |
Diet and feeding: | Sponges and algae in nature. In the tank, they will take frozen bloodworm, frozen Mysis shrimp, mussel meat, etc; even flakes sometimes. Grazer. |
Aquarium behaviour: | Shy, requires plenty of hiding places |
Appearance: | Dark-edged, bright orange slanting bands cross the body and extend into the dorsal and anal fins. The caudal fin is plain yellow. |
