SOURCE New Information from "Coors Study".
ABSTRACT Patient's blood was tested 4 times while amalgams were removed, reinserted, and removed again. "Advanced patient protection" was used, including the rubber dam.

Notable changes that occurred included:
Hemoglobin
Oxyhemoblobin
Porphyrins
White Blood Cells
Cholesterol and creatine kinase
Serum Proteins.

Of white blood cells, the summary reads:
High white blood cell counts responded readily to amalgam removal, while low counts were resistant to returning to optimum levels.
