First demonstrated his version of the Rife equipment at the International Tesla Conference, Colorado Springs, 1995 Now about 1000 systems known as Rife/Bare systems built more less according to the manual he published.
Topic of Electroporation
If subject cells to high energy pulse, micropores open in the cell wall. Widening of the pulse on time verses the off time seems to increase the effect.
In general, harmonics seem to be important, may be the main impact.
RF output power in the Rife/Bare system should be limited to 250-300 watts. Higher powers may be harmful.
Want uniform light in the tube. Mentioned a paper on Electroporation by Dr. James C. Weaver from Harvard published in the Journal of Cellular Biology, 1993, Issue 51. Pulses 1 to 100 usecs, 0.5 to 1.5 v, 10^-9 mm holes. Holes 2-3 um open and snap shut, water flows through holes. There are effects on the nervous system, Also enhances the immune system. Showed excerpt from a paper by Dr. Eugene Ackerman, U of Pennsylvania, April 1992 on cellular sonic resonances, Paramicium, 1200 Hz, Blephisma, 3500 Hz. Talked about Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, NMR. DC magnetic field and pulsed RF. Electrons shift orbits at characteristic freqs for each atom or molecule. Thinks Albert Abrams' effects similar to NMR. Cisco on the Rife list had note books of Couperson and Clayton from Colorado in the 40's. RF and plates being pulsed, may also be the NMR effect. Abrams used 10 freqs around 43 MHz in the Oscillocast waveforms and freq list in Borderlands Journal, First quarter, 1997, p 35. Effects on Protozoa seen on dark field microscope with Rife/Bare machine seen on all types tested so far. Need to work on pathogens such as malaria, hard to get samples as distribution tightly controlled. Effects of Rife/Bare machine on humans with diseases.
- Main effect may be stimulation of the immune system.
- Can't reverse advanced damage, i.e. advanced cancer and after chemo etc.
-Not a 100% cure. Referred to New England Journal of Medicine, May 19, 1997 item titled "War on Cancer a Qualified Failure" - 6-8 weeks after first exposure have a raised white blood count e.g. 12.4 normal range 5-10.
- also slightly low red blood count e.g. 4.18 normal range 4.2 -5.4, may be due to increased production of white blood cells.
-R/B creates a window of opportunity, slowing or reversing cancer growth, may be chance to correct the condition that caused the cancer in the first place e.g. stress, diet etc. Have a new tube triple thickness leaded glass, bubble in center, increased
volume seems to increase wave intensity, Pure argon. A new Kinniman signal generator is coming with pulse(tone burst) capability. Seems to enhance effect. 0.6 to 0.8 sec pulse works best. Demoed Square-one computer-based signal generator from Bob Hanson in Mn, $200, sweeps, wavers, 3000 programs, 30 freqs each.

With unit properly tuned have low RF radiation.
Get Rife wave effects to 100 feet. A video on Rife from Dutch television was shown featuring Jason Ringus and Shawn Montgomery of the Canadian Rife Research Group from Toronto. Jason introduced the video and answered questions following. The video showed them examining the Rife microscope which is held at the London Science Museum. They have been collecting Rife material and are publishing it early in 1998. Have a microscopist and are seeking to put effort into recreating a microscope with similar capabilities as Rife's.

Handout showing keyboard frequency chart, color-frequency star chart, Healthy Body Polarity chart. Source of material is from Dinshah. Related her history of back problems eventually found relief from methods of Dinshah. Uses a PFG 100 pad generator with color-frequency programs. Demonstrated analysis of body polarities using pendulum(stainless steel washer on a string) CW rotation, polarity positive, CCW rotation, polarity negative, used in conjunction with small flashlight shone through various
color slides onto the subject person. Some discussion of correlation of different blood types with different disease groups and relation to color deficiencies. Pretty hard to follow. She mentioned another book, "Light Medicine of the Future" by Dr. Lieberman. Also mentioned the work of Lakhvosky.
A lady named Pheonex discussed her use of the Biotech 2000 machine. Was a pad machine, now has plasma tube option. About $2000 plus $1000 for plasma tube option. Her work mostly in Mexico, good results but hard to sell as eliminates more expensive therapies so Medical Centers not too in favor of this. She had Biotech units at the exhibit area and demonstrated them throughout the conference.

The question of where the commonly distributed lists of frequencies came from as Rife never published them was raised. Ed Heft who designed the Kinniman generator related the story of Dr. Robert Stafford who had a Rife Frequency Instrument in the 1950's in Dayton, Ohio. A friend, John Marsh worked with Rife in this period and got the instrument for him. He had an assistant, Harold Leyland. They bought an early HP frequency counter and measured the output of this instrument and this is where the current lists come from. Both Stafford and Leyland are still alive but gave away most of their documentation to some one from Arizona who hasn't been heard from since. They also found that the Rife machine frequencies drifted around quite a bit and having someone readjust the machine to hold constant freqs. reduced the healing effectiveness. For this reason Ed designed frequency waver into the Kinniman generator. Coming out with a mod to provide the higher level at low frequencies needed with CB.
There were some comments that some machines produced in San Diego in the early 1950's were based on Heathkit equipment. A (ex?)policeman was involved in this. Lynn Kenny got up and talked about his development in the period 1988 -90. Produced the QLF-100 pad unit also driving an ultraviolet-C germicidal lamp, no RF used. Had very convincing results eradicating bugs in hospitals. Total sterilization, no regrowth. Need UV eye protection. Now use 6 watts, pulse it at 4 Hz and use Rife freqs. Introducing a new unit at Atlanta Health show in Nov. Now into Neon gas tubes made of Pyrex. 150-200 watts. Mentioned cell resonance work published by Dr. Harvey Banks in Science and Supplement to Science, 1989 and 1990. Also mentioned a Dr. Catherine Hunter, U. of Alabama, Birmingham setting up new lab has financial backing. Bob Hegge from the UK discussed measurements of the light output from the tube in a R/B setup. At 10 kHz square wave modulation get 10 kHz square wave light from the tube.
At 2 kHz get sharp rise on leading edge up to 5 times previous amplitude then settles to 2 kHz square wave at expected amplitude. Bob was quite sure his measurements were not contaminated by RF pickup.
Paul Jone from Seattle spoke about his experience.
Likes the Clark zapper.
Built several R/B units for others for free.
Lots of results with R/B, convinced it is a great help to many people.
Works on every infection tested.
Someone with a 6 cm brain tumor obtained relief.
Paul has reworked the R/B into a 9 lb. unit in a standard brief case.
Uses a U tube. Really nice looking setup. Had it with him and did a demo.
Dr. Gary Gear. Some discussion of Hulda Clark, have to over look her use of absolute statements. Feel there is value in some of her work.
Others discussed possible university projects at the U. of Alberta and U. of Colorado.
A demo period followed where several systems were run.
Mike Graham from Vancouver demoed his Doug unit(2000 watt audio amp and coil) and told story of his wife's Lyme disease. He also demoed his R/B.
Jone Schramm from Sedona, Az demoed The Phonton Sound Beam, developed by Ed Skilling ($1950). Has two Argon and Xenon glass electrodes which are driven by audio and RF freqs.
There are seven freq. settings and run 30 min/setting.
Sun Am Speaker: Dr. Richard Loyd Gave history and overview of a variety of electrical gismos used in health field.
Has some experience with an Abrams machine as has sent samples to someone in Idaho who has one and has gotten useful results from it.
Crane pad device worked for mono and herpes, other situations provided temporary relief but symptoms returned after treatment stopped. PFG-100, developed by Crane.
Person from N.B. with prostate cancer. Used pad machine with 4x6 magnets on pads. Also sat on south end of a flat magnet.
Following sessions series PSA clear but increased again after 6 weeks with no sessions.
Enhancer - 12000 volt transformer. Floor plate in series with neon bulb.
Stand on glass plate. Person had oyster shell cuts healed.
Doug Unit - Doug lived in Belleview, Wa. Wife had Lyme. 2000 watt audio amp.
Built coil unit and got spirochetes from Center for Disease Control. Watched under microscope and scanned freqs. until found right one. Mike Graham thinks R/B gives quicker results. 2127 Hz for breast cancer. Tune by feel.
Dan or EMEM unit. Motivation unable to get copies of Doug's amp. New ones would not provide 12 amps continuous without burning up. Uses a 900 watt amp and a coil with ferrite core to intensify the magnetic field.
Light gun - mentioned on Rife list about a year ago. Not much known about it.
Bob Beck BT6 Brain Tuner
Someone in H.K. used to break Heroin addiction. 100 Hz modulate 1100 Hz, have sum and difference, pulse at 0.4 Hz. Nicotine addiction harder to break.
Crane - R device. Normal pad device has 10 volts output. This has 200 volt output with current limit. Someone had breast cancer tumor gone in two treatments. Turn up until can feel it.
Bob Beck plant stimulator or blood cleanser.
1990 at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine HIV virus killed by low electrical currents. 1991 15 patents, all pathogens inactivated, Info suppressed. Costs $200K to die of Aids.
Beck heard about this and developed unit. 4 Hz relay. Unit available from Action Electronics,Ca. Sota Insts., Richmond, BC. Use exact pulse points, has small contacts, probes parallel to artery.
Beck self tested 4 hrs/day for a month to ensure safety. Lost weight and hair grew back.
Also developed magnetic pulser, 2.5 mH coil in series with flash tube of a Vivitar 1900 flash unit. Idea was as lymph cleanser.
Mr. Thumpy was put up on Keelynet. Radio Shack party strobe unit with coil in series with tube. This unit has a resistor in series with tube which smokes if run fast.
Dr. Loyd found a smaller unit at R.S., $35.00 which has no resistor in circuit and more substantial circuit board which run continuously with no problem. 1 to 10 pulses per sec. Put in 100 ufd, 600 volt capacitor. Cleared a sty, works on abscesses under teeth and staf infection in root canals.
Clark Zapper - was using 400kHz. Son built a 30 kHz unit with 555 timer, had DC offset which proved to be key factor. Work on an astonishing variety of problems. Error in schematic in her book but written instructions correct.
Dr. Loyd built the Super Zap, 2128 Hz, 28 volt output, worked for several people.
Violet Ray device came out in 20's, still some around, Argon tubes, Tesla coil, bakelite handles. Watch for UV burn. Biotech 2000 was a pad machine, now has plasma tube option. Someone on Rife list with prostate cancer, had one, no results with pads, got tube option, put one in groin, held other and got immediate results.
Infrared diodes mentioned recently on Rife list, opening of blood vessels observed.
Next Speaker: Dr. Gary Gear, Maverick, N7WYD, from Prescott, Az. PhD in EE, Seven years with Intel in 70's - 80's, Designed 8048 microcontroller.
Done different things since then. Recent interest in Rife.
Objectives of involvement: Feel better, Deal with future illnesses, Opportunity to further the science, help his animals. Known confusing data, Clark, Rife, Beck, These devices work, We don't know why.
Much of the Rife study models organic bodies with inorganic assumptions.
Body much like organic semiconductors, very non-linear.
Rife effect not seen with monochromatic light, requires bi-chromatic or poly-chromatic light.
Multiple conduction paths through the body.
Current State of Knowledge:
Mechanical resonance models don't fit.
Electromagnetic resonance model doesn't fit.
NMR model doesn't fit.
No good resonance model.
No correlation between Rife and Clark frequencies.
Surface conduction
Must look at both the voltage and current waveforms as energy is what is important. Waveforms based on measurements made.
As increase voltage, current waveform fills in until looks like voltage at 30 volt level. If put sensing probes on the surface get current square wave representing surface current even with 4 volt drive signal so surface current is more like a plain linear resistor and bulk conduction is non-linear like an organic semiconductor. As drive voltage increases surface current dominates.
Conclusions:
When 4 volt square wave stimulus applied, higher frequency components travel through the body, lower frequency components travel on the surface.
The Rife effect is generated with very low voltages in the body. Body non-linear effects exist at low voltages.
Low voltage stimulus is just more effective than higher voltage(qualitative).
A single cell can be heated +10 degrees C with 1x10^-14 joules of energy(1uamp,1V/m,10ms) Seven minutes on Clark Zapper provides enough energy to treat 250,000,000 cells.
Cell Resonance Models
Mechanical resonance model
Resonance frequency proportional to size A good stereo would be lethal if this model were valid.
Ultrasound would be harmful Therefore mechanical resonance model is not valid.
Electromagnetic resonance model Need very high Q resonance Resonance relationship to size Frequencies not near Rife freqs.
Not convinced this model is relevant.
NMR model Atomic level resonance Power levels of stimulation very high.
Requires quadrature fields Probably not a valid model for Rife effect.
Cell Ionic Activity Can get uneven distribution of + and - charges under influence of external fields.
Possible model Apply AC signals in quadrature axis(at 90 degrees) A dipole is created internal to cell due to charge movement.
Can get a resonance condition with the dipole rotating in synchronism with the external signals if the two driving signals have an even harmonic relationship and are 90 degrees out of phase.
Relates to the presence of even harmonics in the current waveform in the previous low voltage trial.
Conclusions:
Quadrature resonance must exist.
Quadrature resonance may or may not have anything to do with Rife.
Quadrature resonance would be in the 500 to 500,000 Hz range.
Could explain a discrimination between diseased cells and non-diseased cells.
Multiple conduction paths will allow quadrature resonance to occur.
Resonant frequency shifts as pathogen dies.
Dr. Gear qualified his proposed model as not likely correct but gives a place to start.
His interest is in resonant diagnosis.
Lynn Kenny again pointed out that some of these issues are discussed in the papers by Dr. Harvey Banks in the 1989, 1990 Science and Science Supplement.

A friend, James Muir had Lynes book.
Feb, 96 friend Batyah diagnosed with advanced cancer, searched the Internet re Rife info.
March, 96 got James Bare's manual.
June 12, 96 built first R/B system and started.
Don Tulley had told him use freqs. 2100 to 2200.
Scanned in increments of 10 Hz, three minutes each.
Extreme reaction, took three weeks to detox.
Recovery dramatic, excess energy, did things she should not have, hurt herself.
Refused to get checkout and quit sessions
Good for 3 months then diagnosed with brain tumor.
Died in August, 97, extreme lower back pain due to damage done by cancer of spine. Morphine couldn't handle the pain.
Others started.
Casandra from N. Van. cleared of Fibromyalgia, high energy but dangerous, need to use for healing. Lynn and Polly also cleared of Fibromyalgia.
Rented a warehouse, had 30 people in sessions.
Have had a total of 400 people go through one or more sessions.
No one reported any negative physical effects other than normal toxin overload which clears after a day or two. Need to practice a detox regimen.
Don has personally been in front of a R/B machine for 800 hours with no ill effects.
Does cause an emotional response, crying, other emotional effects. Over time people become more grounded., have to deal with issues, think better, feel better. People writing reports.
50% females report increased libido.
Always run the same combination of frequencies.
Don discussed problems related to working with volunteer group where there is no fee.
Hard to get people to follow through. Problem of no pay/no value. Works on colds.
Person from N. Calif. with lung cancer. 50% reduction in before/after cat scans.
200 of 400 people report dramatic improvement. Not one of the 400 report any ill effects other than detox.
Arthritis slow improvement as long as have support functioning. Advanced arthritis can't take detox.
Lady felt effects through concrete floor from room below.
Bill with Alzheimer's, used Lyme freqs. from Mike Graham.
Dramatic change
Took six week trip to Mexico, back where he was before. Same result with sessions again. Killed in a car accident two weeks later.
4 year old girl from Creston, BC with Lyme. Recovery in a few days. Hit a wall at 6 weeks. Change duration to 5 min., change time of day. 15 year old from Vancouver with MS, 2 sessions, 2 weeks apart, no result.
Low desire to get well.
Cancer caused by environment, need to find cause, need to change attitude.
Lack of trace elements, Chromium. Look at ph levels in body. Cathy Keaton, wife of owner of Penthouse, results with Hydrazine Sulfate, discussed in recent issue of P. , used in USSR for 17 years. Hydrogen Peroxide also good.
Ozone therapy, 10 million used this in Germany.
Machine tuning.
Need something hear output on. First used an answering machine, now use another CB on Ch. 14.
Adjust until light "squats", the line of plasma narrows. with 3000 Hz hear singing. Lower SWR better(more effective), normally get 1.5. No indication of problems with people who have embedded metal plates.
Careful to exclude people with pacemakers.
Quiets children, dogs and cats like it.
Follow James Bare's guide lines on frequencies. Don't use frequencies that have no history. No blind scanning.
Candidia albacans use 464 Hz.
Should be hit every day as can have 80 mutations. Change timing, duration.
They do a video on each new machine as all different re tuning etc.
Question re Hep. C. - Person in Hong Kong, sent him a machine, had effects, thinking changed, doing well, had normal 3 day toxic response.
Question re people who have been in cancer treatment, chemo etc. Problem dealing with detox. Should go through detox first.
Judy, x-ray in Feb, large-cell carcinoma, started R/B, had her own machine, stopped tumor growth, still smoking, couldn't detox properly, died in Aug.
Joining a group.
Have to have a designated support person to keep you going. 12 session commitment, 6 weeks.
Keep a daily journal, medical history, emotional record., need to be able to see progress. Watch a video before start.
Daily record, 57 items, pain, diet etc.
One male fathered a child after exposure.
Don commented forcefully that it is still a tragedy that progress is hindered because some people are sitting on collections of original Rife information hoping to cash-in from it. He stated that given the rate of progress in the past year in development of this technology in one more year what these people have will be of little value as understanding will have moved well beyond where Rife was.
Another conference next year was discussed and the consensus was that it should be held on Vancouver Island again, given the excellent job done by the group this year.
Peter from Montreal was asked to discuss detox.
Worked with Gerson therapy.
Believes strongly in coffee enemas, daily or more often up to 4-5 times a day.
Organically grown coffee.
For one enema boil 1 liter of distilled water, put in 3 tablespoons of coffee, non aluminum pot.
Boil off aromatic oils for 3 min.
Simmer 15-20 min at low heat.
Strain through a cloth, not paper.
Use enema bucket or bag.
Try to hold for 15 min. Lie on right side for a while then on back. Other opinion was on knees with head down.
Caffeine stimulates bile production, cleanses blood in liver. Also pain killer.
No risk/ no side effects, needs high emphasis, Gerson therapy has rigid schedule.
