I heart CvS2 and 3S
Oh my, an oversight!

Two days ago I realised there was something I forgot to put in the King video. It's something I never actually recorded, because I didn't write it down in my kingvid.txt notes. So, I'm gonna talk about it here so it's not totally lost and I don't run the risk of forgetting it again.

It's an option select of sorts; throwing when there's an RC and combo'ing if there's something else. What you do is, after a knockdown, if you're close enough for close S.HP, then do QCF+HP, QCF+HK as they get up. If your opponent does a roll or roll-cancel they're put in a throwable state and you will throw them, but if they do anything else then the throw-invulnerability (which is 6 frames long iirc) will make close S.HP come out instead. Close S.HP into HK Doubtle Strike combos for 3 hits and good damage. The key is to press HP exactly when the stick is forward, which isn't that hard because you can keep it there for a bit because the QCFx2 input is forgiving. The second important thing is to press HK at forward also, because you'll get Surprise Rose if you do it one direction earlier. And finally, this is oh so very unsafe anywhere near the corner. CvS2 guide book says -15 on HK Double Strike from point blank, which becomes less as there is pushback from the close S.HP. It's still bad as things like Scissor Kicks will get you (untested), but fortunately you shouldn't be doing this on Bison anyway since his HP Psycho Crusher hits you in 2 frames (startup) + 3 frames (max RC cancel) = 5 frames at the MOST.

Another example of how King can be a half-decent character if you're willing to put up with a TON of character specifics and very situational tactics.
