WILL OF JOHN DAVID (Franklin County Will Book 37:342) I JOHN DAVID, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby made, publish and declare this to be my last Will and testament, hereby revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made. FIRST: I desire all my just debts to be paid, and that a tombstone, suitable to my station in life, be erected at my grave. SECOND: I give, devise and bequeath all of my personal property, unto my beloved wife, ROSLING M. DAVID, in fee simple and absolutely. THIRD: I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife, ROSLING M. DAVID, all of my real estate for life, and having full confidence in her, I authorize her to use so much of the corpus of my real estate, which is to say, all or any portion thereof, as she shall find necessary for her comfort and maintenance, and at her death, whatever remains of my real estate undisposed of by her hereunder, of any, I give, devise and bequeath, in fee simple and absolutely, unto Christine Mattox. FOURTH: I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Rosling M. David, as executing of this Last Will and Testament and I hereby direct that she be permitted to ________ as such without surety on her land.
