CID is an inter-disciplinary initiative at The Ohio State University.Its objective is to bridge the gap between the University, Industry and Government design communities, by fostering education and collaboration that will benefit all involved. To do this it will develop a working laboratory in which experiments in cross-disciplinary, integrated design can be conducted, simultaneously educating faculty, students and industry professionals. This is a ground-breaking structure that will provide the vehicle for developing new tools, guidelines, methods and procedures for life-cycle design processes and products.
