Courses Followed included Electronics, Analytical Instrumentation, Computing, Optical Sensing Techniques and Systems, Sensors and Measurement Systems, Computer Interfacing, Process control and Auto Analysis.

Research Project title: “Upper Respiratory Tract Trauma by Speech Analysis” at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. Design of a Virtual Instrument on the computer using “LABVIEW” by National Instruments. Instrument is in use in the Anesthesia Department of the Manchester Royal Infirmary.

February 1996- till today: Service Representative in the Analytical Department of the Cyprus Pharmaceutical Organization. (C.P.O) Involved with the service and customer support of analytical and medical instrumentation

October 1996-February 1996: Sales representative for medical analytical and environmental instrumentation in Tasni Medical Engineers

November 1995-July 1996 : FULL TIME Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the FREDERICK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Fifteen (15) weeks Industrial Placement held at the Manchester Royal Infirmary during which I performed my MSc project.

Twenty six (26) months served in the National Service as a sergeant in the technical support corp. Duties icluded translating technical manuals from English and French to the Greek Language.

1000 hours Work Experience which contributed for the award of the Higher Technical Institute Diploma (1987-1990). This included training in medical, heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning companies, and Mercedes garages.

SKILLS/INTERESTS

Computers: Very good knowledge of Windows Operating system (3.1, 95, 98) and OFFICE (95 and 97) (Including Access). I have my own Home page since 1996 and also involved for the design of other pages. Also good knowledge of C Language, and BASIC.

Traveling: I have traveled in the Greece, UK, Holland, Egypt, Israel, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy Czech republic and Japan.

Driving: I hold a clean Driving License

Hobbies-interests: Computers and Internet, Photography, electronics, cars, cycling, new trends in technology, environmental issues.

Languages: Fluent Greek and English, basic French and Spanish
