This page is always under construction....like my friends who are getting constructed always.

My Friends circle other than my class-mates is very big indeed. I don't think i can cover everyone of them. I'll list few of them.. this doesn't mean that the peoples left are not friends, because i can't list all of them.

I have/had friends who are girls but never really had a girl-friend. that post is vacant presently. eligible persons have to wait for sometime untill i really think of filling that vacancy:-).

In school i had lot of friends in my class(but i've lost touch with nearly all is a sad thing), to name a few
Palaniappan - who is one of my best friends always, did masters in business administration & working in chennai in ship business.
Girish Narayanaswamy - my school topper, now a doctor
Sureshkumar - hard-worker, he is also a doctor now
Muthuraj - who also did engineeering & working in a software company in chennai
CK Senthil kumar - who went on to become my college mate also & was studying in US. Leaving all who know of him in grief he passed away in an accident.
Kannan - who did engineering in mechanical & working in a concern in cochin

In college other than my classmates i had lot of friends in other branches because of my involvement in clubs like NSS,TamilMandram etc. To name a few:
Sreenivasulu Diwakaran (SW-Mech'95): my senior, had been hostel-general secretary. lead our college blood wing also. inspiration to me in many things. he is working in sanmar corporation, chennai.
Dhandayuthapani (Metallurgy'96) - he was our tamil-mandram secretary when i was student-coordinator to the mandram during our final year
Shanmugasundaram(Textiles'96) - he was our NSS secretary when i was joint-secretary during our final year.
Shanmugapriya(CSE'97) - i consider her as my own sister & she was one of the most sincere girl our college NSS has seen. she got a social-service national award also. she is in TCS-Chennai now.
Manjula(Civil'97) - she is also known to me thro' NSS. one of my best friends still. listens to me patiently & with interest.  she is in DSQ software chennai.
Kandhasamy(Civil'97) - he is known to me through college elections. he was my roommate also when i was in bangalore. He is  working in DSQ software, bangalore - currently in a long term assignment in NewJersey, US.
DeepaVel(Civil'97) - she is also known to me through NSS, also my classmate anuradha's sister. she is presently in UK and her husband Velmurugan is a doctor, a very very nice person.

there are many more, the nearly-entire eee'97,civil'97,sw-mech'96, eee'96, met'96 batch etc.  & if i list them, even ten pages won't suffice....

After i joined hp then the trend continued.. i got many friends...( and there are few seniors whom i respect and like very much like ashok waran, sarath, vishwa ..)

Ravikiran: although ravi is my college-mate, i didn't know him then. after we got hp together we shared house. ravi and me have same frequency in many things. he is one of my best friends since then. Ravi is still with HP-ISO in Bangalore.
Anupriya: Anu is also my college-mate but like ravi i know her personally only after coming out of college. Anu joined hp quiting seimens in jun'98. Since then became my best friend. Incidentally we both moved to HP-US, nearly the same time. She's in HP-Roseville (near Sacramento in California). she is married to Ramraj, a very nice & jovial person.
Priya: she got married to srikant (who also worked in hp). Both of them are in NewJersey, US and she recently delivered a girl baby. we not only went together for breakfast, tea's but shared our happiness, sorrows etc... srikant is also very nice person, with whom i worked for a brief period during my early days in hp.
Vidya joined our section in 97 batch. she was my cubicle mate in HP-ISO, blr until she left. we discuss a lot covering wide range of subjects technically & non-technically. She's finished her M.S in University of Florida (Gainsville),US, presently working in brocade systems in bayarea california.
Hari worked in hp-iso till 98, again belongs to 97 batch. he looks alike me in some poses - so people mistook him for me (and he spoiled my name :-)), many thought we're brothers when they see us together. he's presently working somewhere midwest (??) US.
Sivabalan became my cubicle-mate after vidya left. he's also from psg, very nice guy to move with. i was supposed to be mentor to him when i was in blr. he's currently on a longterm assignment in cupertino.
Jaya is also from psg, infact i hired her ;-). i went to placement to psg on 1999. she works in networking team in hp india.

Others who're although not-in hp, but i came to know because of hp in some way...

Kowsalya: although she stayed only for three months in hp, as we share similar views, ideas, & both of us can talk to anybody for hours, we became close friends. she is presently in HCLTechnologies chennai, married to Shankar who is also working in HCLTechnologies, chennai. Recently she delivered a baby girl (abirmami).
Harini: she was working in philips software, when i came to know her thro' vidya. she is currently working in Microsoft near Seattle in Washington. In a very brief period when we went for trekking together she became my friend. She's one with whom i have maintained contacts successfully for so long period. She got married very recently to Varadan who is planning to pursue MBA in University of Washington.
Geetha: she was working in quidnunc, and was roommate of anu. In a really very short period she was one of my best friend. Married to Kannan, she is presently enjoying married life in Los Angeles, CA, US.
Nivethitha:Again one more of my friend through anu and my college mate (although i never knew her during college days). She is currently in LosAngeles, California (US).

After moving to US (thanks to anoo, ramraj) i came to know few families & i have become part of theirs, all are very very nice people, excellent to get along with.

Prakasam & Eswari: Both are pedeatricians in Sacramento. They've two kids Darshana & Manu. i had become one in the family of them.
Arun & Nandini: arun is prakasam's brother, near to me in sanjose, we carpool'ed to sacramento in weekends :-). After arun moved to denver i've become more loner in sanjose (and no longer visits to sacramento). They have a baby girl (Roshini) whose first birthday was just over.
Bala & Anitha: bala is working in agilent, anitha is working in intel. introduced by nandini to all of us. they have a cute girl kid (Oviyaa) .i envy bala - he drives a motorbike, professional photographer etc etc.
Kumar & Vani: kumar is our college alumni too (much much senior to me finished long before i joined). they have two kids one boy & a girl.

In Bayarea Tamil Manram when i served as PRO in 2001-02, i have made lot of friendly connections :-), like Narayanan Seshadri (president of tamil manram 2001-02), Gunaseelan and his wife Srilatha (secreatry 2001-02) - so nice people - i feel very comfortable with them, Ganeshbabu (president 2000-01), Mani Manivannan and Asha Manivannan (office bearers in manram for so many years), Alex Arulanthu (came to know thru my Anna Univ friends circle, very very nice guy, happens to be from devakottai area, formed Thillana music troupe in bayarea). The list goes on.....

In Stanford being a remote student i didn't make much friends, but during my advanced topics in OS class (CS240) i was part of a study group, we met 6-7 times during exams. It was good enough to know few very nice people like Garima Sahai (soon to be Microsoftian), Ruchika Agarwal (group leader :-)), Ashmi, Sudhanshu Garg (Oracle guy - remote student like me), Erik Weathers (Cisco'ian).
