Basically here there will be a calender of important things happening in the world of UAE and the Amiga.

Watch out for more info and links to Amiga specific sites.

The calender will usually appear for events only so if there is no
calender then basically nothing is happening!!

New DOS UAE features

The new version of DOS UAE is bound to be due out soon. Gustavo is obviously is under alot of pressure to get the new version out asap.

The Unofficial DOS UAE site can announce that some of new features will include:-

  • New screen modes (at least 3)

  • New support for CD ROMs

  • A better GUI (Could be later as this is upto Tim)

  • Default directories (ADF Files, ROM images etc...) - Another for Tim.

  • Others


These are not definate and could change. Why not e-mail Gustavo and see if you can suggest an new feature or an idea.

Or post it to me and I will put the idea on the page for people to make comment.

New Windows UAE features

The new version of Win UAE is due very soon according to Mathias Ortmann author of WinUAE. New features include:-

  • Paralell support - for all those printing jobs

  • Serial support - get on the net with your Amiga!!

  • A GUI - Not really important as UAEL does the job well

  • Others....


As with DOS UAE these are subject to change.
