- Dobby the house-elf warns Harry not to return to Hogwarts, Dobby probably belongs to a rich old wizarding family like the Malfoy’s, Bk2- 12, there is a plot to make terrible things happen this year at Hogwarts, Bk2- 16, Dobby hints that it is not Voldemort, Bk2- 17
- Percey’s been acting oddly, shutting himself up in his room and sending lots of mail, Bk2- 30
- Harry sees Lucius Malfoy and Draco at Borgin and Burkes selling poisons and other Dark Art items, Bk2- 50-53, the Malfoy’s still have more Dark Art stuff at home, Bk2- 53, he is in a hurry important business, Bk2- 52

- The Bloody Baron was given a wide birth by the other ghosts, Bk2- 132
- At the site of the hanging petrified Mrs. Norris writing on the wall says "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, enemies of the Heir, Beware" and Malfoy yells "Enemies of the Heir, Beware! You’ll be next, Mudbloods", Bk2- 139
- There was a large puddle of water near the spot were Mrs. Norris was hanging, Bk2- 139

- Someone throws a book on Moaning Murtle’s head, it is a diary from T. M. Riddle, same name as the person who got the special award 50 years ago, the diary was from a Muggle store, Bk2- 230, 231
- Was Riddles award for catching the heir of Slytherin?, Bk2- 233
- The name T. M. Riddle seems to mean something to Harry, Bk2- 233
- Riddle’s name is also on an old Medal for Magical Merit and on the old list of Head Boys, Bk2- 234

- Riddle would not be able to stay at school because of the attacks and death of a girl, the school may even close, Bk2- 244
- The monster Riddle shows Harry is a giant spider, being cared for by a young Hagrid, Bk2- 247

- Riddle’s diary is stolen from Harry, nothing else missing, Bk2- 253, only a Gryffindor could steal it because of the password, Bk2- 254

- Dumbledor says he will never truly be gone as long as some loyal to him remains, help will always be given to those who ask, Bk2- 264, 266

- Girl killed by the monster was killed in a bathroom, Bk2- 277
- Monster is an ancient creature spiders fear, Aragog sensed and feared it when being raised by Hagrid, Aragog would not name it even to Hagrid, Bk2- 278
- Ginny was very nervous and scared, tried to tell Ron and Harry something by never got it out, Bk2- 285, 286
- Percey had a secret of his own but wouldn’t tell, Bk2- 286
- Hermione had a page of a book cluched in her petrified hand, it was about a Basilisk, this was probably the Monster, she wrote pipes on it, Bk2- 290
- Ginny has been taken into the Chamber by the monster, Bk2- 293
- Ron & Harry go to tell Lockart everything but he is running away, Lockart didn’t do anything in his books, others did it and Lockart took credit and put a memory charm on them to make them forget, Bk2- 299
- Moaning Murtle killed by big yellow eyes that where near the sink in front of her toilet, a small snaked scratched into the sink pipes, Harry opens the sink using parseltoung, Bk2- 300
- Lockart’s Memory Charm backfires and he forgets everything, Bk2- 303
- Solution: Harry meets the memory of Tom Riddle in the Chamber, Riddle is using the ebbing life of Ginny to give him life through the diary, he used her to do everything bad that has happened, Bk2- 307-310
- Ginny was the one who stole the diary from Harry, Bk2- 313
- Riddle wants to know how Harry survived Voldemort’s attack, Bk2- 313
- Tom Marvolo Riddle = I am Lord Voldemort, he hated his Muggle father and his name, his father abandoned him and his mother even before he was born because she was a witch, Bk2- 314
- Harry says he trusts Dumbledor and Fawkes appears, Bk2- 315
- Harry’s mother died to save Harry, that’s a powerful counter curse, Bk2- 317, see also Bk1- 294-299
- When Riddle left school he disappeared, traveled far and wide, sank deeply ino the Dark Arts, underwent many dangerous and magical transfigurations, and resurfaced as Lord Voldemort, Bk2- 329

- When Voldemort attacked the infant Harry and failed, some of his powers transferred to Harry, such as parseltoung, Bk2- 333
- Proof the Harry belongs in Gryffindor is the he didn’t want to be in Slytherin, making him very different then Riddle, and the sward he pulled from the Sorting Hat belonged to Godric Gryffindor, Bk2- 333
- Dobby was Malfoy’s house-elf, Harry helped set him free, Bk2- 334, 338
- Mr. Malfoy threatened the other governors to suspend Dumbledor, they later changed their minds, Bk2- 335
