Rita Skeeter clues, a beetle was crawling around near Hagrid & Maxime when Hagrid reveals he’s part Giant, Bk4- 427-428, Skeeter writes a scathing article on Hagrid being part giant, Bk4- 437, Skeeter was previously banned from school grounds, maybe she hid in the bushes, Bk4- 442, Harry and Hermione confront Skeeter on her biased article on Hagrid, Ron says she’ll be after Hermione next as Sketter takes out her Quick-Quotes Quill, Bk4- 450-451, there is a water beetle in Hermione’s hear while talking to Krum after the 2^nd task by the lake, Bk4- 504, no one knew Krum asked Hermione to visit in Bulgaria, he whispered it to her at the lake after the 2^nd task, there was no way Skeeter could know unless she sneaked secretly to the lake, Bk4- 513-514, Skeeter can’t be using Muggle type electronic bugs because it won’t work near Hogwarts, Bk4- 548, Harry opened the window in Divination class, he heard an insect by the window, harry passes out and wakes up on the floor holding his scar in pain, Bk4- 576-577, Malfoy was talking in secret to something in his hand, Bk4- 609, Skeeter wrote that she saw Harry leave Divination class with his scar hurting, Bk4- 611, and she wrote about her interview with Draco Malfoy, Bk4- 612, Hermione thinks she’s solved the Skeeter mystery, Bk4- 614, Hermione was by the opened window of the Hospital wing holding something tight in her hand, Bk4- 714, Skeeter hasn’t written anything since the 3^rd task, won’t write anything or Hermione will spill the beans on her, she is an unregistered Animagus, she is the beetle Hermione has trapped in a jar since she caught her in the Hospital wing, Draco knew she was an Animagus, Bk4- 728, 730

Crouch hasn’t been seen since November, Bk4- 522, Sirius thinks whoever stole Harry’s wand at the World Cup was in the Top Box (with Winky and the empty seat?), Bk4- 524, not like Crouch to be absent eve for illness, Crouch sent Sirius to Azkaban without a trial, Crouch was Minister of Magical Law Enforcement, Bk4- 536, Crouch’s son was a with Death Eaters caught trying to find Voldemort and help him back to power and was sent to Azkaban by Mr. Crouch at the age of 19 and died a year later shortly after a visit from his parents, Mrs. Crouch died shortly after that, Bk4- 527-529, Fudge got the job of Minister of Magic because Crouch, who was in line for the job, lost popularity due to his son’s association with Death Eaters and subsequent death in Azkaban and then his wife’s death, Bk4- 529-530, Crouch sends regular written instructions to Percy by owl, Bk4- 549, Crouch staggers out of the Forbidden Forest filthy and delirious, Bk4- 553, he says he’s done a stupid thing & needs Dumbledor, talks about his wife & son (who got 12 O.W.L.s), says he escaped, Bertha is dead, Voldemort stronger, Harry Potter (?), Bk4- 555-556, Harry gets Dumbledor but Crouch is gone and Krum is unconscious, Bk4- 559, Krum was attacked from behind, Moody turns up before being summoned, Bk4- 560, who attached Krum, Crouch diddent seem capable, Bk4- 564, Crouch seemed to be struggling between giving Percy instructions and saying he needed to see Dumbledor and seemed most same when asking for Dumbledor, Bk4- 565, if Moody was using the Maraurders Map he should have seen and found Crouch quickly, Bk4- 566, Mad-eye takes frequent drinks from his hip flask, Bk4- 571, Harry dreams about Voldemort, Wormtail and Nagini, Wormtain made a mistake but it didn’t ruin everything, Voldemort got an owl message that someone was killed to fix the mistake, Voldemrot cast the Crucio curse on Wormtail as punishment, Harry wakes up on the floor with his scar burning, Bk4- 576-577, Crouch’s son was one of those convicted for torturing the Longbottoms, Bk4- 595, Crouch sentenced his son, and 3 other Death Eaters, to life in Azkaban for torturing the Longbottoms, one of the Death Eaters said Voldemort would rescue them and reward them, Bk4- 595-596, Cedric said he had help with his golden egg, Bk4- 633, the Triwizard Trophy was a Portkey to the cemetery where Voldemort’s father was buried, Bk4- 635
Dumbledor feels the Ministry is wrong to ally itself with Dementors allowing them to guard Azkaban, Bk4- 588
Crouch disliked Bagman because Bagman inadvertently passed information to Voldemorts supporter, Rockwood, and Crouch tried to put Bagman in Azkaban, Bagman did not go to Azkaban because the crime was accidental and because of his popularity at Quidditch (is this why Winky thinks Bagman is a bad wizard and the basis for Rita’s comments about Bagman), Bk4- 593
Dumbledor has a theory that Harry’s scar hurts when Voldemort is feeling a particularly strong surge of hatred, Bk4- 600
Some of Harry’s blood was used in the spell that brought Voldemort back to strength, Bk4- 642
Death Eaters all have a vivid red mark on their left arm shaped like a Dark Mark, put on his servants by Voldemort and used to summon them, it turns black a when they are summoned. It had faded when Voldemort fell and was now fully back with his return to strength, Bk4- 647, years ago Voldemort took steps to guard himself against mortal death, which is why he survived the curse that bounced back from the infant Harry, Bk4- 648
Lucius Malfoy was involved in the attacks on the Muggles at the World Cup and ran when the faithful servant cast the Dark Mark, Bk4- 650
Voldemort plans to break into Azkaban and release his servants, the dementors will join Voldemort, as will the giants, Bk4- 651
Voldemort’s most faithful servant has already returned to his service, is at Hogwarts and is responsible for Harry being sent to Voldemort, Bk4- 651
Harry’s mother used old magic to leave traces of her sacrifice on Harry so that Voldemort was unable to touch Harry and Voldemort’s cruse rebounded and ripped Voldemort from his body, Voldemort survived because he has gone further than anybody on the path that leads to immortality, now he can touch (and kill) Harry because he used Harry’s blood to bring back his body, Bk4- 652-653
When Voldemort broke Bertha Jorkins Memory Charm, she told him of the Triwizard Tournament and of a faithful servant who would be willing to help Voldemort, Bk4- 655

Voldemort’s faithful servant put Harry’s name in the Triwizard cup and ensured that Harry won the tournament and turned the cup into a Portkey, Bk4- 658

After returning to the maze, Dumbledor told Harry to stay, Moody pulled harry back to the castle, Bk4- 672-673, Moody is the faithful servant at Hogwarts, he cast the Dark Mark at the World Cup, he hates Death Eaters who walked free and turned their backs on their master, Bk4- 675, Moody got Hagrid to tell Harry about the dragon and helped Cedric with the golden egg, Bk4- 676, he told Dobby about gillyweed, Bk4- 677
Dumbledor used his wand to break the door and stun Moody, this is the first time Dumbledor is mentioned actually needing a wand to cast a spell, Bk4- 679
Moody, the Death Eater, was named after his father, he killed his father, Bk4- 678, Moody is not Moody, the real Moody would not have taken harry away from the maze where Dumbledor told him to stay, Bk4- 680, the real Moody was locked in his trunk, their was Polyjuice Potion in Moddy’s hip flask, the fake mood was the young Barty Crouch, Mr. Crouch’s son, Bk4- 683

Solution: Young Crouch escaped from Azkaban by switching places with his mother, each using Polyjuice potion, he was smuggled out by Mr. Crouch, young Crouch was kept prisoner in their house with Winky taking care of him, used an invisibility cloak, Bertha Jorkins found out and Mr. Crouch used a Memory Charm on her, young Crouch was in the empty seat next to Winky at the World Cup, he saw Harry’s wand and stole it and used it to cask the Dark Mark, Bk4- 684-687, young crouch stole Polyjuice ingredients from Snape’s office, Bk4- 689
When Harry told Dumbledor that Voldemort used Harry’s blood in the spell to bring back his body, Dumbledor appeared to have a brief look of triumph on his face, Bk4- 696
Dumbledor’s phoenix Fawkes was the source of the feathers in Harry’s & Voldemort’s wands, Bk4- 697, if a wand and it’s brother are forced to do battle, it causes an effect like Prior Incantatem on one wand, forcing it to regurgitate spells in reverse order (Why did James come out before Lily?), Bk4- 697-698
When Fudge found out about young Crouch he looked as if his personal safety was in question, he summoned a dementor which performed the kiss (Why did Fudge want to get rid of Crouch so quickly before he could be questioned?), Bk4- 703, Fudge refused to believe Voldemort was back, said it was impossible, then smiled, Bk4- 704, Fudge wouldn’t believe Harry because of Skeeter’s stories, Bk4- 705, Fudge is afraid to take any action against Voldemort because it may threaten his career, Bk4- 706-710, Fudge is forcing the Daily Prophet to keep quite about Voldemort, Bk4- 726
Dumbledor asked Snape "you know what I must ask you to do.", Snape said yes and left to do it (Do what?), Bk4- 713, 720
