Comprehensive Choices

The flexibility of Alfia parking solutions goes as far as providing a choice of colours so that your parking machines complement their environment or your corporate branding.

Easipark

Our Easipark Parking

Management system gives you

close control over your car

parks, with the options for Pay

on Foot (either via automatic

machines or centrally located

cashiers), or Pay at Exit.

Virtually all car park layouts

can be accommodated, and the

solutions can be as simple or

sophisticated as you require

whether you are planning a

manned car park or networking several fully automatic sites.

These types of systems help

reduce crime by increasing

security and ensure that all

spaces are fully utilised to

deliver maximum revenue.

Both systems offer straight

forward instructions, making

payment quicker and easier for

users which helps to speed up

traffic flow.

The Easipark Ticket Issue

machine issues magnetically

encoded tickets at entry to the

car park. These are then

validated when the appropriate

fee is paid at the central cashier

or pay on foot machine, or pay

at exit machine (a feature

which few other manufacturers

offer). The exit ticket reader

checks the validity of the ticket

for exiting.

Built by Alfia, the Easipark machines are compact, robust and reliable, featuring a built-in test mode that regularly checks for

correct operation to ensure full

income is maintained. With the

ability to accept season tickets,

pass cards, and coins as well as

issue receipts, our automatic

payment machines encourage

full usage of your car park.

Uniquely they can also accept credit cards and bank notes, even giving bank notes in change. The four-way reading transport will verify a ticket no matter which way it is inserted into the machine

contributing to ease of use and

shortening potential queues.

Clear prompts make Easipark

straightforward for cashiers too,

also accommodating cheques,

credit cards and staff discounts.

Tickets can display the car

park identity, entry time and

date, the fee paid and the

required exit time and date. If

the pay machine is low on

change the ticket can print on

the ticket the amount of

change owed to the customer

and the ticket can be inserted

into different pay machine and

the change will be issued.

Invalid tickets can be retained

by the exit machine, preventing

an unauthorised user from

leaving the car park.

Vision

Our Vision Pay and Display

machines are favoured by local

authorities for their powerful

features, tough slim build of

discrete design, making it ideal

for on-street parking and park

and ride sites. Offered in a

range of colours, the Vision Pay

and Display machine has been

developed with the help of

environmentalists to make

efficient use of materials and

blend with local architecture

whilst still being easily

identified as a payment point.

Vision machines are available

for operation via mains supply,

battery or solar power, allowing

use in a variety of locations.

The coin acceptor unit is

highly effective compact and

reliable. The secure coin box is

totally separate from the ticket

generation section of the

machine, enabling cash

collection to be carried out by

third party contractors. Its

compact design makes it more

manageable for collectors and

attendants, meeting Health &

Safety concerns by reducing

the risk of potential injury.

As well as coins, the Vision

Pay and Display machine can

accept season passes, ‘smart

cards’ using a magnetic stripe

or chip technology, credit

cards, decremental cards

offering many payment

possibilities. GSM networks are

used to carry out credit and

decremental cards transactions

and can also be used for the

transfer of data and monitoring

of machines.

A Keypad option is also

available for recording vehicle

registration numbers on tickets,

which prevents ‘passing on’ of

tickets to maximise revenue or

to allow staff or employees to

enter a pin number, authorising

a discount on their ticket.

Audit and activity

information, such as ticket

purchase times or the most

frequently used tariff, is

available to help you plan and

refine your parking

arrangements.

Control Master

Control Master systems are

straightforward and reliable

which allow the following

options:

• Ticket issue machine (prints time, date and serial number)

• Fixed charge pay machine

(either pay at entry or pay at exit)

Retrieving of audit data for

analysis can be printed on

ticket stock or by the special

Alfia data collection

package, utilising the Psion™

Organiser - particularly useful

where a group of machines are

installed. Once downloaded,

the information can be

transferred to a PC. The fixed

charge machine can be set for

up to 10 different tariffs, varied

on different days and times if

required and conveniently

selected by a hand-held unit.

The Control Master pay

machine is fully compatible

with the Vision Pay and

Display models.

Optipark Vehicle License

Plate Recognition

Optipark is ideal for high

security sites or any car park

where a business or local

authority needs to monitor

traffic movements.The system

instantly accesses a

comprehensive database of

authorised registration numbers

and, using cameras with image

sensors and infrared LEDs to

‘read’ the number plate, alerts

the operator to any

unauthorised car. Able to cope with sunlight and the glare from headlights and taillights, the cameras can be set up to various ranges depending on the application. The cameras can be mounted in a variety of positions and provide high resolution

pictures that can be viewed onscreen with details such as

entry and exit dates and times,

vehicle and owner ID, event

log and alerts for exceeding

permitted stay or other

transgressions.

Optipark software can

control several installations

across a large area, making it

especially suitable for sites such

as industrial complexes,

airports, retail outlets,

universities, hospitals and

hotels, travel lodges and leisure

centres. It can be used to

control a ticketless car park, or

integrated with any of the

revenue machines from the

Blick Alfia range, customised to

suit your exact requirements.

Easipark Management

Software

Our specialist software makes

easy work of car park

management, accounting and

revenue control, for a single car

park or networked across

several sites. Windows™ based

and simple to use, it can monitor space allocation across an entire

car park network and activate ‘full’ signs at maximum capacity. The comprehensive information

collected for analysis includes individuals’ duration of stay, peak periods and types of user

(e.g. season ticket holders) equipment malfunctions and

income reports, helping you to assess

Blick Alfia Overview Picture 12

the most effective ways to

maximise usage and revenue,

while minimising traffic delays.

Even if the system goes offline,

information audits are retained

so that they can still be

retrieved and analysed later.

Reports can be customised

to suit your precise needs and

the system can be based at a

location remote from your car

parks - in local authority

offices, for instance. For little

extra outlay, Alfia

specialised software puts you in

full control of your valuable

parking resources.
