As we have done for the past six or eight years, we took a long weekend break in March to Arizona to watch the Rockies / Diamondbacks in their spring training ritual games, and see the neighboring sights. The games are a blast, mixing the big-name pro players with no-name upstarts who get a shot to prove their mettle in front of coaches and fans, all taking place within the small, up-close-and-personal stadiums of southern Arizona.
As usual, we have no pictures from the games. Still, the Tucson area provides great photo ops on its own, and we manage to find new places each visit. Dates: 14-17 March 2002
