Name: Manuel Carlos Loureiro Figueiredo Silva

Birth: 1954 March 13 - Porto, Portugal

Finished engineering (telecommunications) in July 1977 in the University of Porto.

Started working in Coats & Clark with a Sperry Univac and Cobol

Went to work in Portuguese Telecom where I learned and developed system analysis

Then Time-Sharing, a very interesting Portuguese company that did (in it's time) what the others never dreamed of

And now Champcork, where I am 'in charge' of computers and telecommunications, besides programming in RPG, creating pages for the internet and intranet, supporting users, organizing communications.

We have a main system IBM AS/400 and two network servers HP NetServer with MS Windows NT.

The IBM keeps the main data and the 2 HP keep special data, the mail and a Intranet.
