I don't know very well how I came to like jazz because it was not common here in Portugal, but what I know is I like jazz.
Although I hear the classic jazz like the one played by Louis Armstrong, what I realy like is the ECM type. Perhaps it's not just ECM, but I sure like Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Jan Garbarek, and many others.
BTW to keep my records organized I tryed and loved a small data-base program - CD Trustee - that does something amazing - I just put the CDs in the driver and the software goes to the internet to find all the info about them! It's amazing and a work-saver. Recommended.
One good thing about jazz is to be able to hear the CDs again and again and not get bored.
