Acme Fruit and Nut
Home page, why do they call it a home page, who are "they" anyway. One day I hope to meet the "They" and find out this and a few other mind buzzing problems. How many times have you heard, "They were just here", or "They will be back when They get here". I looked and looked but still They have eluded me once again. Perhaps They are over There? Are you there, perhaps you are they? While I'm contemplating "they" do you think we should also find out what? Pages after pages are all around me but they seem to have phone written on them or gas company. I don't like these. You just get rid of one and before you know it, another takes it's place. I now understand why people have dogs chasing away the mailman. Those mailmen are a crafty bunch, just only today I got another cable bill. Just the other day a persons' home page would be at his/her home town, at least close by. Today I don't even know if you should have your home page in the same country. Notice the handsome fellow with the part that is being air dried. Take particular notice of his attire. Focus your gaze on his choice of color, I believe we have found the designer and perhaps promoter of the new company costume. Makes you want to clutch your chest and feel proud. What was that? PS. Acme Fruit and Nut is a sample company Apple uses for demonstration purposes. Speaking of demonstration here is some home pages :
A couple of ponderances - just a couple, I promise. With all of this crap on the news/TV/web lately I submit:
I could never see the creative juices flow from . (blinka, blinka)
The obligatory word/catch phrase of the moment: Flotsam & Civil Disobedience
The mystery object d'art Any guesses?
They say (nudge, nudge) that links are THE thing to have on one's home page. Since there is not much else here, why not. Let it rip I say. I don't want to know what they will say, but who are they any way. Now how can you forget to send me a note with such a nice long link as this? Apple Canada has a nifty site. The company that puts up with me has a large site, A couple of places I frequent when the darn freenet lets me in, EvangeList is a terrific place for Mac stuff/culture also check out the collection of links at the Canadian site of the day. There is always far too much Mac related stuff to keep a firm handle on, many have tried and many do. As the right-reverend Mac the Knife says, "Do like a Valley Girl, and Clique here". The Roadstop is a customizable site for all the news that is news (about Macs naturally) Everybody has hobbies and once in a while shows a passion that only their wives can try and understand, well when I find mine I will still be poking around the weeeb looking for geneology facts and figures, hanging out with the pioneers, and trying to find a deal on metal working tools. In the interim from high atop the thriving metropolis on the mighty shores of the majestic Bow we have through the marvels of modern smoke and mirrors, a color picture. In compliance with the theme of this neighbourhood I have found a very profound site of astounding scientific research and equally magnificent results. How about this, you are checking out the new product line at your favourite site and getting deeper, suddenly the boss walks in, quick do you URL to the unemployment office or hot key this. Ah, but the boss is also the Mrs. No problem keep this quick keyed. Frankly it might be just as well to apply some of this therapy. Of Course some Mac pages o'links CAUTION: The above contains random variations of common english text, no electrons were harmed in it's creation but few will argue. ??? color, pictures, sound ??? what's your inner/intra/inter voice telling you. My kingdom for a scanner or one of those fancy cameras. This brings us to the bottom of the ol' page of recent manufacture (970422 & 23). Mind you it may not look like this for very long but so far you can see one of those java counter things in the top left corner.... And there will NOT be a $#4@&!! java guest book curse. Show your colors, May The OS Be With You!
