Required Documentation:
The following documentation are required at the end of the semester:
a softbound hard copy of a formal written report on the project

a copy of the approved proposal
copies of the progress reports
copies of presentation materials used in presenting the project, if any
a soft copy of the formal written report
a website for the project
other forms of documentation as may be appropriate for the particular project
Schedule/Deadlines
All documentation (softbound hardcopy and CD) are due at 4 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2003. Schedules for the project defense shall be set on October 14 to 18. Click here for available timeslots.
The penalty for any deficiency in the project documentation shall be 20% of the maximum project grade. Deficiencies include, but are not limited to: late submission, incomplete documentation, improperly formatted documentation.
The penalty for failure to attend the project defense on the scheduled time slot shall be 20% of the maximum project grade.
No projects shall be accepted after October 18, 2003.
Grading
The ELC 152 project grade, normalized to 100 points, shall comprise 40% of the basic class standing.
The 100 points of the project grade are distributed as follows:
- 10 pts for having an approved project proposal by a specified deadline
- 10 pts for 5 progress reports (2 pts per progress report)
- 20 pts for an oral presentation of the written proposal and progress made so far
- 60 pts for the final project defense and project documentation
Project Defense
Schedules for the project defense shall be set for October 14 to 18 at F-311.
The available timeslots are shown here. Lots will be drawn to determine the order in which you will sign up for defense.
