- Started work at the Wits
University theatre as the lighting technician in March 1983.
- Got married in September of the same year.
- Daughter, Jade, born March 1984.
- Purchased computer 1990 - why didn't I wait?
- Separated August 1994.
- Burgled 8 Times 1988-1996.
- Moved into a secure flat with my daughter Oct 1996.
- Discovered the Internet at my local I-cafe:
Milky Way Internet Cafe, Yeoville in December 1996.
- 1 week later, discovered a really fast link at Club 42 in Randridge Mall. (Dec. '97 - went into liquidation).
- In January 1997 I started work with the help of "notepad" on my old 386 with Windows 3.1 to put this together. I did download Internet Assistant for Word '95 and did most of the original typing on my mom's Pentium 100.Thanks to all my family for their patience and understanding etc. etc.
- November 1997: went to Munich, Germany for two weeks to work at the "Out
of Africa" Festival with the "Tumbuka" and "Moving into Dance" companies. Made
lots of new friends, froze my ass off and had a ball!
- January 16 1998: divorced *sigh* life in the nineties ; |
- June 2000: went to EXPO 2000 in Hanover, Germany with "Moving into Dance" company.
- July 1 2000: started work as a webmaster at artslink
