Relevance/Notes: This issue begins the sequence of
issues of the Hernandez work that features without a
doubt the most collective gay and lesbian content show
throughout the entire run. It begins with the reunion
between lesbian lovers Maggie and Hopey in this
issue's Ninety-three Million Miles from the Sun. It
continues through the end of the "Wigwam Bam"
storyline as well as the introduction of Luba's
husband Peter Rio in Gilbert Hernandez's "Poison
River" and "Love and Rockets" storyline, which both
begin next issue.
                                       Follows up on:
The last time both brothers featured this much gay
content in their collective storylines was in those
issues that were reprinted in TCLaR book
Duck Feet, issues #17-19, along with one story from
the Love & Rockets special Bonanza.
                                       Collective
relevance rating (not average) for issues #30-39: 8.5

First: Sable #14 (Apr)

Significance: Grey returns, and in style.
There is a major gay themed storyline in issue #21 in

engaged, though we don't find out his name till a
later issue.
                                     3 (Aug)
