so i'm finishing up on my latest system (i keep telling myself its gonna be the last one i get), but i'm just lookin for some feedback...

Panasonic DF-203u headunit
el-cheapo 2-ways in the front doors and in the back
Sony XM-2165GTX amp (1000w / 400w-rms x 1 @ 4ohm)
4gauge power all the way
two custom built, slotted boxes

...by the time the subs arrive i'll have cut the holes in the boxes for the subs, and i'll have carpeted the boxes.

about the boxes.....

they're built to fit perfectly in the back of my jeep and point the subs towards the back door/window as to bounce the sound forwards....


i decided to put two terminal cups per box, one per voice coil, so i could easily rewire the subs w/o having to take them out...

here's one w/ the amp.....

....i'm thinkin about an amp rack and i'm open to suggestions. i'm also planning on buying the Sony XM-460GTX (600x4) to power some components (which i also would like some suggestions on), but the sony 600x4 is the same size as the 1000w that i have, which is gonna look nice, especially on a rack, but i don't know....
