Pictures from E3 2000

2000 was my first E3--after that, I couldn't believe what I had been missing! Click on the thumbnails below to see a larger image.

Me and my LEGO guardian.

Shows like E3 always have cute girls to attract publicity from the majority male demographic. Seems to work.

Girls from the fighting game Dead or Alive. I believe they're Tina (left) and Helena (right).

What an opportunity: meet Gary Coleman, play Dead or Alive 2 on the PS2 (not yet released in the U.S.), and win free stuff!

Gary Coleman was surprisingly good.

Sega had some great shows this year. I didn't get pictures of the Space Channel 5 one, which was even sweeter than the one for Jet Set Radio.

Another picture from Sega's Jet Set Radio show.

Nana Visitor, who played Kira Nerys on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Lara Croft. The model, from South Africa, was only sixteen when this picture was taken. She did a great job, nonetheless!

The wrestler Mankind.

Another Sega innovation, Samba de Amigo uses sambas as controllers.

A giant Slowking. True to his name, he never seemed to move.
