Game Developers Conference 2003 Memories
Game Developers Conference 2003 Memories

This was my fifth year as a Conference Associate (i.e., volunteer) at the GDC. I tried to meet more people and to build friendships that will be active more than just once a year. I have a great time every year, but this year was the best. Thus, it was also the saddest. I desperately hope we'll keep in touch with the friends we made. (Note: I forgot--or didn't know--some names. If you can fix something amiss, please tell me.)

The setup: Nvidia gave away a high-end graphics card to the best twenty-minute drawing. The catch: You had to be a real artist, and you had to include the Nvidia logo in the drawing. The wheel indicates the theme for each round.
