- Masterminded the Junior hiring program.
Conceived, designed and implemented global strategy for hiring graduates & MBAs from top schools in US, France, UK, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland. Presented the business plan to the management team, achieved a go-ahead and set long and short term goals. Identified schools & events and surveyed compensation packages. Developed interviewing methodology and conducted interviewing skills training. Designed marketing tools (brochures, flyers, web-site, posters, etc) for the target segment. - Studied fragmentation and operational inefficiency caused by cross-technology, cross-functional and varying evolution speeds of systems at a large international CSD. Analyzed the preliminary requirements and planned the implementation of a front-end integrating disparate back-office systems.

PROJECT EUROCLEAR |
Euroclear is world's largest securities clearing house, clearing more than $60 billion worth of assets every day. The mission was to design and implement a real-time clearing and settlement system. It was one of the largest (~350 man-years) object-oriented project undertaken by a commercial organization.
- Managed eight member team responsible for fixing bugs reported by fifty testers. Established a change tracking system and release guidelines. Organized the team and divided areas of responsibility. Reduced pending problems from 300 to 120 in two weeks and brought down average turnaround time to 2 days.
- Conceived the need for a rule-based converter which would capture operational data and transform it into client reports. Assisted in implementation.
- Designed a transport layer framework using MQSeries to transport objects from core transaction process to secondary data analysis process. Managed development and testing. Wrote user manual and programming guidelines.
- Led design and implementation of real-time reporting. Studied settlement process, analyzed client's needs and designed the architecture.
- Helped setup methodology, configuration management, testing infrastructure and development frameworks.
