		First Systems Integration's technology conference. by: Ignacio Rivera On May 30, 2000 SII presented it's first technology conference "Manufacturing in the New Millennium" to a group of business leaders at the Embassy Suites in Isla Verde. Luis Goncalvez , from MAPICs Atlanta, was the guest speaker. He made an interesting presentation about Thruput, an Advanced Planning Systems based on the theory of constrain. He explains how midsize manufacturers could achieve overall improvements of over 30 to 50% using this revolutionary software. Then he make a live presentation using the real program. Ignacio Rivera, make the audience aware of how fast e-business is changing commerce and how it will ultimately will change our way of living. Jose Fabregas presented the new MRP business model and instructed the participants on how to implement it, then Jose Justiniano presented Maincor, an Asset Management Systems that goes beyond preventive maintenance.
