one can better see the bridging fine wires from the boom terminals to the
mast terminals. Normally, a better bridge would be one with a coiled
shape, rather than a looping straight wire.

upper single wire is clamped on both ends. The brown boom/mass suspension
wire is simply looped over the round metal fixture, and is really one long
piece.
