22.5 peaceful acres on the NW corner of Makoti, ND in Ward county was purchased in '97 by Laurel & Elaine Snyder. Mostly trees, it is a peaceful little retreat from the rest of the world. The Snyder farm is home to Laurel and Elaine Snyder as well as three of their five boys and their three grandchildren during the summer months. Tim has 6 dogs, 6 geese, and 6 white tail deer, Grandma and the girls have cats and Brad and Buddy have a short hair Golden lab named "Thor." No one is sure how many cats there are out here but we have at least as many mice. Tiffany, Sheba, and Lucky each had kittens in the same week. We had 15 kitties for a while but that number is down to 10 now thanks to some very loving children. You know how kids love kittens. Well these are the cuddliest nicest kitties that a child could ever love so be sure to stop out and pick up a complimentary kitten for your child. There are links to more pet/animal information further on this site.
