Postage Stamp,

There was just the slightest bit of chill in the air, made somewhat more obvious by the "whoosh" of the aircar as it flew overhead. People hung out of the windows of the Urban Monad across the canyon that used to be a street. The old bearded man slowly removed the pre-moistened square of paper from the packet with the big bar code printed on its side. He placed the little paper precisely 0.5 mm from the top and 0.5 mm from the right side of the envelope, opened the door to the mailbox and dropped his epistle into rusting blue box. Jeffrey Allen Smith, at the age of 128, in the year 2092, was the last man on earth to use a postage stamp.
