How to Program DSS all By Yourself

Ok Now that you think that your ready you must have these files,
Winexplorer 3.6 and Viyada 1.6 and RemoveUpdate29.xvb .
You Must have Win98 or Win95. If you have Win95 you need to get these files in the tools sec. to make winexplorer work with win95 Here.
Here we go.......      As of 8/14/99
First thing to do is open Winexplorer 3.6 and make sure com port
is set with your programmer.
1. Click on the camera (ONLY CAMERA) in winexp. and read the USW at the bottom of screen, {you may have to scroll up a little to read it}.
If USW = 29 d     1D h  (hex) go to next step 2.
If USW = 28 d     1C h  (hex) go to step 3.
If USW = 26 d     1A h  (hex)go to step 3.
2. In Winexplorer 3.6 Open File and load RemoveUpdate29.xvb
and run script. and when it ask say YES to 28 usw.
When Finished.
If USW = 28 d    1C h (hex) go to step 3.
If USW = 29 d    1D h (hex} or any other usw do nothing else and come to Dss/Tech Channel in Mirc.
3. Now that you are at step 3. exit winexp. and open Viyada 1.6
Now before you do anything in Viyada click on the Camera.
(And Only the Camera)
Check that the  USW is at 26d / 1Ah  or 28d / 1Ch 
if it is any other usw, EXIT.  It Will Kill Your Card.
Now thats said. Lets move on.
4. Click the Read eeprom button.
If the eeprom image read save it now. save as the last four numbers .bin
and go to step 5.
If It Said ( Timeout )  go to the dss/tech channel and get help.
5. In Viyada Click on the Amblance button.(this will clean it)
Then Click on the Lighting Bolt, And say Yes to Write to eeprom.
When Finished You are Ready To Install Your Programing
(like X1.xvb or any other 3m). 
6. Open Winexplorer and load your favorite 3M run it and watch TV.(get the most up to date 3m that you can. Stealth type is better).
