Come Morning Activity

Students will select a scene from the book Come Morning, by Leslie Davis Guccione, to summarize using Microsoft Word, and KidPix. You MUST bring in your copy of Come Morning, and re-read the pages from the scene that you choose. When you write your scene summary, start with a proper header (Date, Name, Section, and Title on second line - centered), and be sure to include what the characters were thinking, and why. Your summary needs to be at least one paragraph long. Get approval from Mr. Brown to use KidPix to draw a picture of the scene, and use the TRUCK and MAGNET to COPY and PASTE your drawing into WORD. SAVE and PRINT your work for credit.
