In the fall of 2005, Filla accepted the position as Lee County Public Safety Information Manager. In this position, he, under general direction from a Public Safety Deputy Director, plans, designs and oversees the implementation of a full range of programs for the collection and distribution of public safety related information, both internally and externally. This position is responsible for not only ensuring efficient technical solutions/interfaces for collection and distribution, but serves as the Director's primary source for the strategic direction within the respective disciplines.

arrives in his current position after serving as Public Information Officer for the Lee County Emergency Medical Services (LCEMS) , Paul was responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating activities intended to ensure that citizens of Lee County and Lee County EMS personnel are well informed and well educated about Lee County EMS. Filla served as a Director of Public Relations and Marketing for CompuSven Incorporated where he was responsible for establishing and overseeing the entire CompuSven presence to peers, competitors and customers. Filla served as lead consultant for DefenseLINK Program Management Office where he was responsible for planning, coordinating, and documenting internet operations for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs. Prior to this, Filla served as an internet consultant for the Army National Guard Headquarters and a division of the National Cancer Institute. Filla graduated from Purdue University in May 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Communications emphasizing in Public Relations and an accredited public relations professional with the Universal Accreditation Board. Filla is married with two children. |
