Career 11 yrs. 1,346 4,288 1,061 169 50 93 467 625 139 .247 .375 .980

Lightning quick jumps, this CF defensive specialist, was a leader with an all out attitude, on the 1959 "Go-Go Sox" American League Champs.

Minnie Minoso OF G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 51-57, 60, 61, 64, 76, 80
Career 17 yrs. 1,835 6,579 1,963 336 83 186 1,023 1,136 205 .298 .459 .980

The only Major Leaguer to play in 5 decades, Minnie is an icon to White Sox lore.  A native Cuban, he could always be seen with a big toothy smile, while giving 100% at all times.  A character, A White Sox.

Joe Jackson OF G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox '15-'20
Career 13 yrs. 1,330 4.981 1,774 307 168 54 785 873 202 .356 .518 .958

"Shoeless" was a member of the 1919 American League Pennant winning Black Sox.  Known more for his participation in the throwing of the World Series, Joe was destined to 3,000 hits and a .350 lifetime average.  Joe is still not in the Hall of Fame, which is Baseball's loss.  He also lead the AL in triples 3 times.  Definitely a White Sox kind of guy.

Harold Baines OF G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 80-89, 96, 97
Career 18 yrs. 2,463 8,818 2,561 439 48 339 1,423 1,168 33 .290 .466 .981

A strong arm Right Fielder, Harold exceeded 10 Assists 4 times.  His knees gave out in '87, relegating him to DH.  His lore, Bill Veeck discovered Harold at the age of 12, on Maryland's Eastern Shore.  As a member of the 1983 Western Division Champions, it was one of ten 20 homer seasons, and one of seven 90 RBI seasons. His number 3 is retired.

Bill Melton 3B G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 68-75           154
Career 10 yrs. 1,144 3,971 1,004 162 9 160 591 496 23 .253 .419 .953

Bill was a power hitting stallion in some very lean White Sox years.  His 154 Home Runs were a club record until the '80s.  Also, his 33 homers in 1971 led the league.  Defense lacked, with 20 error seasons a norm.   Bill is White Sox!

Willie Kamm 3B G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 23-31
Career 13 yrs. 1,692 5,851 1,643 348 85 29 826 802 126 .281 .384 .949

A defensive whiz, Willie led AL third basemen 21 times in either Put Outs, Assists, Double Plays or Fielding Percent.

Buck Weaver 3B G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 12-20 1,254 4.809 1,308 198 69 21 420 623 172 .272 .355 .934
Career 9 yrs. 1,254 4.809 1,308 198 69 21 420 623 172 .272 .355 .934

An all around contributor, Buck played all infield positions as a key contributor to the 1919 Pennant winners.  Buck's last season was 1920, he was dismissed from Baseball by Commissioner Landis for his participation in the 1919 scandal.

Luke Appling SS G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 30-50 2,422 8,857 2,749 440 102 45 1,116 1,319 179 .310 .398 .952
Career 20 yrs. 2,422 8,857 2,749 440 102 45 1,116 1,319 179 .310 .398 .952

Luke was an expert with the bat.  He once fouled off 17 pitches in one plate appearance, frustrating the opposition.  Although no championships, Luke's grit and determination were constant, setting the standard for being a White Sox.

Louis Aparacio SS G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 56-62, 68-70
Career 18 yrs. 2,599 10,230 2,677 394 92 83 791 1,355 506 .262 .343 .963

"Little Louis" followed Chico Carrasquel in a line of Venezuelan Shortstops to the Majors. His base running and defense were critical in the 1959 Pennant, demoralizing the opposition through robbery and theft.  Louis is a White Sox icon.

Nellie Fox 2B G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox '57-'64
Career 19 yrs. 2,367 9,232 2,663 355 112 35 790 1,279 76 .288 .363 .977

Nellie teamed with Louis to provide one of the best double play combos ever.  Defense was the strength, helping to manufacture runs, and just a tough all out pesona that got the job done.  Nellie is all about being a White Sox.

Eddie Collins 2B G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 15-26
Career 25 yrs. 2,826 9,948 3,312 438 186 47 1,300 1,821 745 .333 .429 .958

Eddie was a leader on the 1917 World Series Winners.   Exonorated of any involvement in the 1919 Black Sox, Eddie continued to utilize his speed leading the league in SB's twice.  Defensively, Eddie's numbers were great.   His leadership and attitude will bring winning to this all time great team.

Zeke Bonura 1B G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 34-37
Career 7 yrs. 917 3,582 1,099 232 29 119 704 600 19 .307 .487 .991

Zeke was a short timer, but held the single season White Sox RBI record from 1936 until 1998. Zeke was a regular golden glover as well.  In this all time line up, Zeke's numbers will only go up, with all the surrounding compliments.

Dick Allen 1B G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 72-74
Career 15 yrs. 1,749 6,332 1,848 320 79 351 1,119 1,099 133 .292 .534 .991

Dick was also a short timer in difficult White Sox times, despite the circumstances, he was selected AL MVP.  Dick also made a contriversial cover of Sports Illustrated, juggling 3 baseballs with a cigarette in his mouth, in the White Sox dugout.  It was White Sox.  He also looked solid in the red pin stripes!

Frank Thomas 1B G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Flg
White Sox 90-97 1,076 3,821 1,261 246 8 257 854 785 18 .330 .600 .993
Career Current. 1,076 3,821 1,261 246 8 257 854 785 18 .330 .600 .993

A certain Hall of Famer, Frank already has two MVP's, and numerous league leading statistics.  In the middle of this line up, he will certainly improve.  Frank also led the White Sox to the 1993 Division Title.  "Big Hurt" is just that!

Sherm Lollar C G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox '57-'64
Career 18 yrs. 1,752 5,351 1,415 244 14 155 808 623 20 .264 .402 .987

Sherm was a member of the defensively solid 1959 Pennant Winners, solidifying the pitching staff, and all up the middle defenses with a league leading 14 DP assists.  A steady, hard nosed competitor, Sherm is White Sox.

Carlton Fisk C G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 81-93
Career 24 yrs. 2,499 8,756 2,356 421 47 376 1,330 1,276 128 .269 .457 .987

"Pudge" a leader and a competitor, a continued theme.  A member of the '83 Division Winners, Pudge provided leadership through example.  His handling of pitchers was superior, his toughness unquestioned.   White Sox!

Ray Schalk C G AB H 2B 3B HR RBI R SB Avg Slg Fld
White Sox 12-28 1,755 5,304 1,345 199 49 11 594 579 176 .254 .316 .971
Career 11 yrs. 1,760 5,306 1,345 199 49 11 594 579 176 .253 .316 .971

Ray was stability in one of the White Sox winningest eras.  A clubhouse leader, Ray was a member of the last World Series Championship for the Sox, 1917.  He handled pitchers exceptionally well and is a great contribution to this team.
